With fringe, harnesses, cutouts, or feathers, each one's got something that makes it read "hey, that's awesome" even in two dimensions. (So imagine how great they'd look in three dimensions?) According to a new report in The Guardian, women aren't buying little black dresses online—at least not like they do in stores. Instead, they're putting printed frocks and colorful cocktail numbers into their virtual shopping carts, because those are the things that leap out at them from the computer screen. Black, in contrast, seems "flat," says The Guardian.
